It's the 28th, by the way.
Just saying.
Also, if you missed it yesterday, I'm still feeling out the whole Mixtape Mafia idea. So far it's looking like we could have a cool little crew. There are still a few people I'd like aboard (you know who you are...). If we can get at least 10 people, we will do this thing. This I swear.ETA: If you know anybody who may be into this sort of thing but may not be a regular reader of the blog, let them know to hop on and comment. The more merrier and whatnot.

Wow . . .that surprises me. Right now I am doing the Winner's Dance. In my office. By myself.
Patti, don't get cocky. It' still anybody's ballgame. I mean, just like the NBA Finals everybody thought the Cavs were going to get swept and... hmmm. Okay, bad example. Do your dance, girl.
snicker...
well, now i have to comment.
cool chart!
Yeah, that chart is seriously impressive. Also, don't encourage Patti to do that dance. I've seen it...
crud, i guess you're not adding the todd's comments together... now the question is: should i go back and comment on the blogs i've already decided not to comment on just to win? i can't do that. dang you, morals!
i like the idea of the mixtape mafia...can we put together a shared internet site that we can upload mp3's to? (BEN?) rather than having to burn and send out the CDs?
and another thing...Dylan I think you should start up a music review site and pull together a panel of bloggers and they'd all review 1 cd per week. Could be a review of a cd, a particular artist, an individual song, even just a riff that merits its own blog (Icky Thump has a few of those). I'd totally be on board and I think with a handfull of contributors it could be a really cool site.
Jesse,
As far as an FTP-type site, I dunno. Beyond the I think there's something cool about getting a handcrafted mixtape in the mail. Am I alone here?
Plus, I like the idea of hijacking an archaic delivery system for my own nefarious purposes.
As far as a music review site, I'd be down. You set it up and I'll be there. Deal?
personally, i like the idea of putting together the cd's and sending them out, and i really like the idea of getting one in the mail. however, i would be willing to setup a site where we could upload the mp3's (say 15 days after the initial pressing?). if anything, that site could serve as a catalog of all the mixtapes we've made, we could see it as a backup. only people with usernames and passwords could get in, and you'd have to be in the club to get a username!
there is no one Id rather tie with!
