BRR Goes To the Movies, vol. 11

So, Michael Clayton. Looks interesting and Clooney's always worth watching. Rumor has it that he wanted to direct this one, but deferred to Tony Gilroy, who wrote the screenplays for the Bourne trilogy (I still need to see Ultimatum, and I do mean "need" as in "you need water to survive," "need."). I will say this though, Tilda Swinton, not a very convincing American. Rental, maybe?

By the way, this is post # 498. Dude.

I have no desire to see this one. That means it will probably win 5 oscars...

Wow, it's the 28th and still no post. I'm sure you've got cold feet as you approach 500. No worries. There's no... Oh wait, I just read your previous post, where you said #500 would be "boss". Ouch. Piling on some pressure, sir. I know you can pull it off, though.

I must disagree with the others, I actually want to see this movie, most likely a rental but I am intrigued. Yes her bangs are terrible though. But I also have a creepy part of my brain that wants to see "No Country for Old Men"

Allen, you are a man after my own heart. I don't think this will be an earth-shattering film, I think it looks interesting enough, especially if it dips a toe into crazy paranoia the trailer hints at.

I am so seeing No Country For Old Men. I [heart] the Coen Bros., especially when they're in Blood Simple/Miller's Crossing mode. Loud and bloody and sort of funny. I am there. I will gush more when I post the trailer.
