BRR Goes To the Movies, vol. 1

Okay, so I'm going to start a new feature this month: BRR Goes To the Movies. This is mainly because Entertainment Weekly released their Fall Movie Preview a few weeks back and I thought it might be fun to go through it here with you, my beloved Internets. Also, it will give me something to post about when I can't muster the strength to post about the important stuff. Like bazooka-carrying space apes or my intense dislike for Ryan Seacrest.

Here's how it works: I will show a trailer and decide if I would:

a. See It In the Theater
b. Rent It (and actually watch it)
or
c. Throw It In the Queue (and tell myself I'll watch it some day while it sits there gathering dust alondside the Battle Of Algeirs and Juliet Of the Spirits and the million other Criterion Collection movies I have stuffed in there).

First up, we have Jack Black and Mos Def in Michel Gondry's Be Kind, Rewind. Roll film!

Okay, so it could be a wreck, I'll admit that up front, but at least it will be an interesting wreck. I'm always down with Michel Gondry. The dude rules.

Diagnosis: Theater. (but will probably just Rent It). How about you?

And I love the idea of this post as a regular . . .

When there's a good enough copy available on the internet, I'll download it and stick it on my hard drive where it will sit forever.

I mean I'll rent it.
