Yes, I'm bummed. I always thought he played his role in The Royal Tenenbaums a little too hauntingly well. If he really tried to hurt himself, that makes me teeter on the edge of sadness and surreality.
dude! I had no idea until I saw your blog. I just watched You, Me & Dupree (thanks to my awesome free HBO from the cable guy) but now this bummed me out too.
Yah, Luke did the suicide thing, but Owen played the out of control druggie, which is what I was referring to... I may be off base, but I'm thinking that had something to do with it.
Brooke, I think maybe Owen watched You Me and Dupree and that was enough to finally put him over the edge.
Actually, I think I read somewhere that it was I, Spy that pushed him over the edge. Let us pray that Luke never sees Blue Streak. Or Andrew sees, uh, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle?
I love me some Wilson brothers, but sometimes I think they're trying to kill me with their script choices.
Oh, that is sad. I saw the "wants time to heal" headline, but in my mind I thought he removed his tonsils or had a nose job or something. It is kinda tragic. bumming, for sure.
